I live in Yukarıbey, a village on the Kozak Plateau, and work across languages, technology and independent projects.
I studied Japanese, translated manga, worked in drug-safety reporting, then found my way into crypto. It was never a neat career plan. I tend to follow subjects that make me curious, learn fast, and stay long enough to become useful.

Before crypto, I translated manga from Japanese into Turkish. Two series carry my name as translator, and I edited a third:
I am preparing a documentary channel about the consequences of changing one basic condition of the world. The first episode asks what would happen if nobody were hungry tomorrow. English comes first, with Turkish and Japanese audio planned.
A shared task list I built with React, Supabase and Vercel. It began as a useful tool for two people. I may eventually turn the idea into a more general product called Junto.
An app for recording who gave what at a wedding. In Türkiye, guests pin gold and jewellery on the couple, and families keep a careful list so they can return the kindness one day. Hatır Defteri turns that notebook into a simple app that also works offline. The name means, roughly, a record of goodwill.
A local food venture I support and help build digitally. It is based in the village and shares Aegean food and culinary heritage. I work on the bilingual website and SEO.

Life here
I moved from Istanbul to Yukarıbey for a life closer to nature. The garden is pesticide-free. I grow apple, cherry and olive trees, save seeds from my harvest and try small experiments, including saffron indoors.
Mostly observation, trial and error, and learning what the local microclimate will allow.İda and Cesi are our dogs. My partner and I also care for street dogs in and around the village. Sometimes that means food. Sometimes it means treatment, shelter or finding a safer place for a mother and her puppies.
It is ordinary, ongoing work, and a real part of our life here.Languages and tools
Turkish is my native language. I work professionally in English and Japanese, with basic German and Persian. I use AI for personal projects, but the useful part is still deciding what problem is worth solving.
